of course it’s comforting to grab a hold,
to tesselate nicely with others around you
but your grip soon becomes greasy
because these shapes – which seem so certain –
are really just layers and layers and layers
of batter
big ideas fried and refried
like tempura, or something<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
