GLASSDEMIC-19: <\/em>a zine for people wearing glasses during the pandemic<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s a vehicle to share my experiences of trying to make human connections whilst coming up against mask-induced-fogging and screen-induced Zoom glare\u2026 ALL VIA THE MEDIUM OF PAPER MARBLING.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make lenses inspired by the screen reflections on my glasses when I use Zoom I use Suminagashi – originally from Japan, where ink is floated on water. To make lenses inspired by the way my glasses fog up when I wear I mask I use Ebru – originally from Turkey, where paint is floated on water thickened with powdered sea weed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
